Kings College Hospital
Kings College Hospital currently use ViewPoint throughout their Early Pregnancy Unit and Harris Birthright Centre to document and record the images and biometry of all of their Obstetric and Early Pregnancy Scans as well as Colposcopy examinations.
The challenge had been that although Kings College Hospital send all GP letters for patients within the Lambeth and Southwark district via email using the EPR system, letters previously generated via the ViewPoint software were not included in the automatic email send process and were manually sent via post.

Tayside NHS Goes Live with ViewPoint replacing a manual system that involved keeping a card record for each patient. The system has been implemented with full patient and GP data pre-loaded to allow minimum data entry by users. Eight Ultrasound scanners in the fetal medicine and obstetric departments have been connected to the application.

Salisbury District Hospital
Salisbury District Hospital, part of the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, helps women deliver around 2300 babies per year. Salisbury’s incumbent fetal ultrasound system could not perform NT Risk calculations (for Down Syndrome screening) and patient record storage and retrieval was cumbersome. They identified a need for a new solution to replace their fetal medicine module. ViewPoint was selected to fulfil these requirements.
