Great Ormond Street Hospital

The fetal cardiac service at Great Ormond Street Hospital provides a quaternary referral service for the diagnosis, counselling and management of prenatal cardiac disease. The service has a unique role as an interface between the paediatric cardiothoracic services at Great Ormond Street Hospital and obstetric and maternal health units throughout London and across the UK.

Salisbury District Hospital

Salisbury District Hospital to offer NT scans to all pregnant women

Salisbury District Hospital, part of the Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, helps women deliver around 2300 babies per year. Salisbury’s incumbent fetal ultrasound system could not perform NT Risk calculations (for Down Syndrome screening) and patient record storage and retrieval was cumbersome. They identified a need for a new solution to replace their fetal medicine module. ViewPoint was selected to fulfil these requirements.

Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust

Each year, the Dorset County Hospital Foundation Trust and its three supporting community hospitals help to deliver more than 2,300 babies to women in West Dorset.

The trust chose Health Net Connections (HNC), the sole UK distributor of GE Healthcare’s Viewpoint and Trium CTG software to oversee a project that would connect patient data, throughout their obstetrics, ultrasound and maternity departments and streamline information into an electronic record that could be accessed by users across four sites.
